production, and more. SMO 254 Bars has good resistance to erosion corrosion. Most common cold work methods are
successful with this alloy. 254 SMO Round Bars are also used in food and chemical processing machinery, pulp
mill bleach systems, and more. 254 SMO Rods is somewhat more sensitive to hot cracking and shall be welded with
low heat input. 254 SMO Bars is 50 percent stronger than 300-series austenitic stainless steels. We also offer
these products in different and custom-made specifications.
