SMO 254 Fasteners
SMO 254 Fasteners are the
austenitic stainless steel fasteners that consider the high level of molybdenum, nitrogen, and along
with low carbon content. The fasteners exhibit superior resistance to crevice, stress corrosion cracking
and pitting corrosion. Furthermore, these are also resistance to fatigue and uniform corrosion. These
grade of fasteners are significantly stronger than other steel alloys. These fasteners feature impact
strength and high ductility. These are fasteners used in high chlorides atmosphere such as seawater and
in brackish water. The fastener ensures superior toughness and high strength at cryogenic temperatures.

properties post process annealing is performed. While the cold working is achieved by traditional
