The main difference between the two is their composition ratio – Cupro Nickel 90/10 is made up of 90% copper and 10% nickel, while Cupro Nickel 70/30 contains 70% copper and 30% nickel. In general, Cupro Nickel 90/10 offers improved low temperature ductility under extreme conditions; this makes it a great choice for various applications needing flexible metal, such as high-pressure gas lines. By comparison, the higher percentage of copper in Cupro Nickel 70/30 provides greater electrical conductivity, making it a good choice for molding and electrotyping operations.
