The best arc quality is achieved using a mixture of argon and hydrogen gases. Alloy 718 Sheets are used in nuclear fuel element spacers, down hole shafting and strength bolting, hot extrusion tooling, and more. These Alloy 718 Plates are also often used in springs, fasteners, cryogenic tanks, etc. Alloy 718 Coils can be welded in either the annealed or the age condition. Welding in the aged condition will cause the formation of a softened heat-affected zone. We offer the same to our clients in customized specifications as per requirements.
