What is the difference between 321 and 321H stainless steel rings?
321 and 321H stainless steel rings are a metal alloy with incredibly high rust resistance and excellent

between the two is that 321H has added carbon content—meaning its melting point is higher than that of
standard alloy 321, making 321H better handle higher temperature applications. Additionally, the added
carbon content increases strength at elevated temperatures and provides greater corrosion resistance
than other stainless steels. Both alloys remain strong at temperatures up to 1500°F, but for
temperatures exceeding 1500°F, 321H is the superior choice.
